Sky Signature is the base package for Sky Q so you need it if you want to have any other Sky TV service (such as Sports or Cinema) via a Sky Q box.

Ultimate TV on Sky Q is basically Netflix, so if you don't use it then you should be able to get rid of it, provided you didn't sign up for a specific length of contract.

Thanks for your reply. I do watch Sky, a lot, I've been a customer since there were only 3 sky channels to watch, think it cost £7 a month!

I'm trying to pare back my charges but it's so confusing as to what you get.

Yes, it can be quite tricky to fathom exactly what you get with each package.

The most basic package on Sky Q is Sky Q Essentials which is basically just the free-to-air channels (BBC, ITV, Ch4, etc) and no premium Sky channels. This costs around £15pm or less.

You can switch to Sky Stream which has the Essential TV package which is similar but with the addition of Sky Atlantic, Discovery+ and Netflix Standard (with ads). It costs upwards of £15pm but requires that you have fast and stable broadband in order for it to function. It also doesn't have recording in the same sense as Q.
