Sky Soundbox with Nintendo Switch?

I am thinking of getting a used Sky Soundbox, but my TV does not have optical nor Bluetooth. My Nintendo Switch's Bluetooth also doesn't work.

Will I be able to get audio to work by using Nintendo Switch HDMI out > HDMI in of soundbox then sounds box HDMI out> HDMI in of tv?

I am aware that it does not have ARC, but I think the above set up does not require ARC as it just HDMI audio pass through. I am just not sure if the HDMI in port of the soundbox only takes signals from Sky products..?

No: although it was designed for Sky Q, a Soundbox will passthrough video and extract audio from any HDMI device.
