OXS S3 Sound Bar

Hi,

There must be a way to control my OXS S3 Sound Bar with my Sky Q remote (ie. Volume Control).

My sound Bar works fine with its own remote but I would really like to control it with the Sky Q remote.

I tried plugging the optical cable into the sky box (This worked with my old sound bar) but I dont get any sound out at all this way.

There is no code for OXS as far as i can see. (I tried the Philips codes, as surgested on a post on the internet to no avail)

Any help would be very much appreciated.

What is the make/model of your TV?

If you connect the OXS soundbar to your TV via HDMI ARC and then pair your Sky Q remote to your TV, if you have HDMI CEC control correctly enabled on your TV, the Q remote should control the volume of the soundbar.

Thanks for replying.

My Samsung TV has a HDMI ARC outlet but my OXS S3 sound bar only has connections for AUX, OPTICAL and COAXIAL 😞
