My remote won't even switch the TV on. IVE TRIED NEW BATTERIES,even bern out and bought a new remote. But nothing works. Tv stuck on terrestial

@MrsMH you may need to find the TV remote that came with the TV and try using that to switch from terestial to the HDMI port that your Q box is attached to

Hi @MrsMH I would start by power rebooting both you TV and Sky Q box. Did you buy (or get) your new remote from Sky or a reliable source (I.e. not eBay). Make sure that it is in IR mode (line of sight) and hold down 4 & 6 until the led flashes. Then as long as HDMI control is on, switching on, the Sky Q box it should turn on the TV on the right input.
