Unhappy with Sky Q. Cannot set reminder for upcoming programme.

Setting reminder for upcoming programme was very helpful with Sky + Why is this not available now I have moved to Sky Q?

Also we listen to radio frequently through our tv. With Sky Q we get a black screen with only the name of the radio programme we are listening to. Sky + had a blue background but also had a section showing who the presenter is and the time. Much more user friendly.

It's costing us more for Sky Q but service is poorer. Can we get a discount?

Discounts are available on all subscriptions but if you've just upgraded to Q you've probably already got one.

By the way, reminders have never been available on Sky Q.

You can press the i button to show the radio programme info.

Unfortunately my notes don't help give any reasons for the decisions made to implement or not any features but do highlight some of these differences. We think part of the reasons for no reminders is the way SKY Q differs for multiscreen with minis being slaves to the main box.

We do know reminders is one feature that many customers miss.

We also know that the very different UI can take a bit of getting used to and hopefully over time, whilst you may miss some features, you may other features you like I particularly like the live mini previews.

That's been asked for very nearly a decade (Q was released in February 2016) and it's never going to happen.

Ironically a form of Reminders have just arrived on Glass & Stream, after only four years...

I find it easier to set reminders on my smart phone now. Wouldn't buy that edition anyway, not interested In Traitors and really not interested in the Celebrity edition. Odd really that I was born and brought up not far from the area that castle and didn't know it was there. Suspect it got a glow up for tv.

Maybe. It does look impressive. Such a great show, you should check it out, but you have to start with season one, before they really knew what to expect.

and yes I use the phone reminders too. So easy with control
