History Chanel skinwalker Ranch not recording

we watch curse of skinwalker ranch and are having problems recording season 6 episodes . The History Chanel ( no 123 )is part of our package and now won't let us record the program , is it beacause it's recorded in HD only and we don't have the HD option ? It does give us the option of recording on SD but it will not work .
any advice welcome

@Colechi yes as you dont have the HD subscription you will not be able to watch it in HD if you have recorded it in HD or downloaded it in HD. Sky history SD should be on channel 123 but if its not check channel 821 this may be Sky History SD
The default download setting is HD so try changing the format to download in SD

you can change the default to SD by Pressing Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Setup.
Select Preferences, then 'On Demand default download format', and choose SD. You need to do this on your main box
