New Sky Q remote won't turn tv off

Had a new sky Q box yesterday and now I have awful trouble turning the TV off with the new remote , I have to switch it off and the back of my TV via the buttons , so annoying. Is there a way to do it please?

Hi @Catherine.B39

With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Once the remote is correctly paired,

A short press on the standby button turns the Q box On or Off.

A long press (about 3 secs) turns the Television On or Off.

And to the box? Does voice control work?

also, have you no longer got the TV's remote if you have to use the hardware buttons? What about volume?
