Sound level fluctuating on TNT Sports

Anyone else noticed the sound volume fluctuating up and down on TNT Sports?

I've only noticed it on TNT Sports. The volume goes up and down over maybe 30s.

Really annoying.

Yes I've noticed it too, just TNT Sports 1. I've noticed it during several football matches recently.

Hi @mikepilk I am watching TNT Ultimate on my TV (not on Sky Q) and I am getting the sound drops. Conclusion, don't adjust anything, I suspect it is in the broadcast.

Yes. Really annoying. As if Fletcher and McCoist aren't bad enough with their matey commentary. I watched quite a bit of the La Vuelta coverage recently on TNT Sports 1, and the sound was fine.

Same here. Only noticed the problem this week. Tried casting instead of using Sky Q app but sound issue still apparent. Really annoying and something TNT should be focusing on. Seems to be related to crowd noise level - commentary volune reduced when crowd volume increases.

Yes, only TNT Sports 1. I watched a match on one of their other channels this week and the sound was fine.

I first noticed it during their coverage of Athletic v Arsenal on Tuesday, then Liverpool v Athletico on Wednesday, and again on Thursday during Newcastle v Barcelona.

Yes just TNT Sports 1. I noticed it on some of the Champions League games this week and the Arsenal v Forest game last Saturday lunchtime.

Yes I had exactly the same issue when watching that Liverpool game and previously for other games on the same TNT channels and again last night for the Man City v Napoli game(not sure what channel that was on). Really really annoying and tried changing sound settings on my Sky Q mini box and also my Samsung TV and surround sound system. Tried Sky Sports channels and they were fine.

Kev. I should add that I have an HD box, so the issue isn't confined to Sky Q boxes!

Same issue for me on Sky Q with TNT sports football commentary. I thought it may be an issue on the commentary side but it's been several TNT football games now I've watched where the volume noticeably dips for periods during a game.

Yes. Again on TNT Sports 1 today during the Liverpool v Everton game. On another note, the TNT Sports picture quality used to be the benchmark, but it's now very ordinary, at least on the HD platform. Lots of weird artefacts, especially on close ups.

This issue has been going on for at least a week now. The audio was all over the place during the Betis v Nottingham Forest match on TNT Sports 1 tonight. Please get it sorted Sky! It would be good to have an update posted here.

Bad as ever tonight Aston Villa vs Bolologna. It's like listening to 1970s Radio Caroline. Switch of the damn compressor/expander. Sounds like the the audio tech is ducking the commentary when the crowd noise increases. Get rid of the YTS boy and get a professional in.

I'm getting the same issue when watching via discovery plus, so it seems to be a broadcast issue
