I am moving house and purchased new OLED TVs. I already have some issues with my Sky Q boxes but will they work with the new tvs. Also if I want new equipment how do I request. I have an engineer booked in on the day we but I doubt if he will be carrying new Sky Q goes. Anyone have answers please

Hi @Chelblue

Afraid no Q boxes are likely to be new as it's doubtful that new stock is being produced due to the number already in existence.

If there are specific issues with your existing boxes that you can demonstrate to the engineer then he could replace any if faulty.

Bear in mind that if this relates to the main Q box then you will all existing recordings if it is relaced.

Any buy and keep content from Sky store can be reloaded to a replacement Q box.

Hi @Chelblue Sky Q works with all modern TVs. Very doubtful that you will get any new boxes, they will set up your existing boxes.

Hi @Chelblue Where did you hear that piece of misinformation? There is no such thing as older Sky Q boxes, they are all old! In fact OLED is now considered as old technology. Sony's top of the range TVs are now mini-LED replacing OLED.

All Q boxes will work with any modern TV.

However you may be referring to UHD and also UHD/HDR capabilities.
