Cbeebies/ Cbbbc not broadcasting msg

Woke up this morning to error message on 2 channels.

No programme is being broadcast, it flashes up for a millisecond then switches to the message.

Same with CBBC too.

I've tried a couple of reboots to no luck and tried the lines coming in from the dish , loosened them and put them back on fully tightened and still no luck.

Luckily we have quite Alot of kids stuff on recordings haha

Anyone else got the same error?

I know it's been pretty bad weather wise so I have an idea it's the satellite or LNB has been moved, signal is at 70% , strength is at 90%

We have the same problem. Comes on for 1 second then goes off and shows message "No programmes are currently being broadcast on this channel. Slight panic for us as our grandson (2) is arriving soon for the day haha.

all other channels seem to be working..

Do you think it's just a technical glitch or they gone forever?

my 3 year old isn't best pleased 😢

Judging by the amount of other people are reporting the same thing, I'd go for a technical issue.

Problems might be with BBC sending it to Sky

We're down in Hampshire and have got the same thing. However, we've got a freeview telly upstairs and it's broadcasting fine on that so wondering if it's an issue with Sky?

Currently having to watch milkshake on 5 but im wondering if there is other issues too as wont let me rewind/fast foward or pause either however record is working

Yes the same thing here.
We use the programmes as a countdown in the morning. Breakfast with Bluey. Uniforms on whilst Peter Rabbit on. Teeth and hair by time number blocks on and then we leave when love monster appears!!
Today was fun 🤣🤣🤣

There seems to be lots of glitches on Sky this morning with this problem and pause/rewind issues on many channels.

Until the problem on Sky is fixed, if you go into iPlayer, select channels on the left, then choose CBBC or CBeebies and select Watch Live, you can watch the channels that way.

It would appear to be a problem with the SKY settings as I can receive CBBC HD on a non SKY Satellite box

Sky say I do not have the Kids package .so can not watch Cbeebies !

But they offered a Sky Kids package for 2 months as we had problems this year .We cancelled it one month in as unused + we did not want to pay after the free period ended.

Sky say BBC not broadcasting but neighbours say they are + we can see a glimpse of Cbeebies before Sky notice " No programmes being transmitted on this channel."

Sky are telling me to phone the BBC ? Sky is the service provider

This is a free BBC channel providing you have a TV licence ,that we do have

I and my grandchildren are disappointed in Sky

Exactly the same issue here. Glimpse of cbeebies then says no programmes are currently being broadcast on this channel.

Yes, we have the same issue (I'm in the South West) Thankfully, it's still available using the BBC app.
