Returning skyQ but lost remote

I am sending my sky Q equipment back but cannot find the remote anywhere. Does anyone know what will happen?

Nothing will happen. They mainly care about the boxes, the remotes not so much. They're beginning to care less and less anyway as the satellite service is wound down. You won't get any demands for payment for a missing remote!

It should not matter.

Just make sure you return any Main Sky Q and Sky Q mini boxes and their power cables.

It is not essential to send back the hdmi cables, but you can if you wish.

It should not matter that you do not return your remotes.

You can put a note in the return packaging to say Sorry, the remote is lost, if you wish.

But, when returning the equipment, it is important to make sure you keep your proof of posting, or at least take a photo of it to keep, for any future reference with Sky.
