Do you think the broadband playing up might be the root cause of the sky Q box losing its connection?

Shouldn't affect live TV though. Or are you on Stream and not Q?

My sky Q box is doing exactly the same, reconnect to my broadband which is ( virgin media) then it drops out/ disconnects, broadband is working fine, all other devices connected to the broadband are working fine, this has been playing up for the last few months, are we waiting for a software upgrade to iron the bugs out or could there be a problem with my sky Q box, anyone else having these connectivity problems or is it just mine

Anyone? Try searching in here, it's one of the most common problems.

Try powerline adapters instead of wifi.
