We are having exactly the same issue. Open Reach Engineer came out on 20th, replaced broadband, left without saying he'd finished and then when we checked had no satellite signal. Went through all troubleshooting steps and told to book an engineer, none available until 4th September. Booked slot 8-1. Waited all day and engineer finally arrived after 3pm (she had called at 2 to say she'd be late) and she eventually identified that the Open Reach Engineer had actually drilled through the existing satellite cable when installing the new fibre line so said that was likely the cause. She replaced the cable, checked our main skyQ box and mini boxes to make sure resolved and they all seemed fine, live TV was working again. She left about a hour ago. 15 minutes after she left, no signal again. Gone through all troubleshooting steps for the 5th time and no resolution, she's not answering our calls so gone online to book an engineer and next available is 15th September. Can't even speak to anyone to try and resolve. So very frustrating... we've been sky customers for 20 years and pay an absolute fortune. We only had the broadband upgrade owing to terrible WiFi for the last few years (had to switch to fibre as never got anywhere near the advertised speeds and next to no signal strength). Don't know why we bother. I feel your pain... unfortunately no closer to a solution than you seem to be!

Oh my thats awful. Yes I've been a customer for 25 years (not sure why ive stayed there are cheaper options 🤣) Our engineer is on the 11th and just praying its all fine. Ive literally just gone back to Sky Sports after 10 years and obviously am unable to watch 🤣 Have to laugh or ill cry. I wont even go there with the problems I had with Sky Talk and trying to get a refund on what I been paying for and not had. Hey Ho let's see what happens on the 11th.

Well unless your engineer also manages to drill through a sat cable, which I guess is mathematically possible but seems like a hell of a coincidence, broadband and satellite signal have literallly nothing to do with each other.

Our sky engineer just came round and our wire had been damaged when the broadband fibre was put in. The engineer could fix with complications though and after he left (after trying to try in touch with someone to talk to to take a suggestion he made) im no longer a sky customer after 25 years

The service I've had in the last 4 months had been sub standard. Ive never had a problem up till now. Thank you to everyone on here tho for trying to help with problems but seems im not the only one and will not be the last

So you've left because Openreach, not Sky, damaged your satellite connection but Sky couldn't resolve it?

Firstly Sky are not responsible for Openreach, second, did the Sky technician tell you why they couldn't resolve it?

Sky booked the open reach engineer and I pay for the broadband via sky so they are a third party surely, so to me this is a joint problem. I did state I've had 4 months of complete hell with sky up until this point. 😊
