Background sound drown out commentary

Currently watching F1. Background sounds are regularly drowning out commentary. Similar thing happened with football occasionally too. Have Sky changed sound balance settings on sports events?

I watched the first 20 odd minutes of the GP before turning over the Brighton v Man City. No sound issues on the F1 coverage for me on Sky Q.

I don't know if it is any different on the HD feed but I have not noticed any problems with the commentary on the UHD channel - I do, however, have an AV amp and a full set of separate speakers which may not show up any deficiencies that a TV or soundbar may struggle with

Hi @SGD I would check that your centre speaker is performing okay.
