Does essential tv not include sky Atlantic ? It says it does on adverts i have seen but on screen it says upgrade needed

Hi @stevemedd SKY Atlantic is available on the SKY Essential TV package.

Have you tried launching the app from the apps rail on the drop down menu on the left of the screen?

SKY rather foolishly, in our opinion, have used very similar names for similar but different products on different platforms.

This leads to a lot of confusion especially with AI returns from searches,

SKY Q Essentials only allows access to the free to Air channels whereas Essential TV (only available on SKY Glass/Stream) includes SKY Atlantic & Netflix

Thus Essentials on SKY Q does not include SKY Atlantic, I am afraid

Hi yes tried that nstill says upgrade required someone else said that its not available with sky q only streaming and glass

We recently cancelled our services (it was £244 a month) and just cannot afford that (was for sky broadband, sky Mobile, Landline<-- never worked, sky full package TV+cinema+sports). When on phone we cancelled everything and dropped down to a service that had netflix, atlantic and discovery for £28 (huge differance in price). but that package says £14 online with the other package that has sky max, syfy and a few others at £24 per month. Also says sky cinema for £10 extra a month but all pricings confusing.

If we could get all channels and sky cinema for a reasonable pricve we would (mobile/internet/landline are gone) diff priders for mobile and internet and landline has been removed since its no longer relevant (upside of that no more fake scam calls).
