Sky box message is Unsupported video format. I have tried unplugging and restarting and after "We will be ready in a few minutes " message it goes back to Unsupported video format

I'm not convinced that's the Q box generating that message.

Hi @Tadgh789 Try resetting the Sky Q box to 1080i by keying in Home 1 0 8 0 Home on your Sky Q remote.
