We take the sky mini box down to our garden room where we have a WiFi extender and it seems to reject the WiFi

ie we set it up it switches on works for a couple of seconds and switches off

so need to get it working

I'm assuming you have Sky Q not Sky+ and will move your post accordingly.

Hi @Phil2401

It needs to a Sky Q WiFi extender to connect Q boxes.

Beat option is an external grade Ethernet cable. Connected to your Main Q box or your Router if on Sky Broadband.

If you have the Sky Max router or 3rd Party Broadband then you need to connect the Ethernet to your main Q box.

If all Q boxes are on Ethernet you can connect them all to your router regardless of broadband supplier.
