I've had several phone calls with no progress. I have sky signature with netflix & sky kids. To reduce my bill I asked if I could have sky Ultimate with sky kids and answer was no unless I have the strewam option. But I want to keep my sky Q box.

Is this correct? why can't I get the above on my Q box?

@Alan2430 They are different packages between the two systems. Ultimate is the 'premium' tier on Stream and Glass.

hi @Alan2430

As @Anonymous indicates the packages are subtley different between SKY Q & Stream

Ultimate on SKY Q is just really an add on

On Q you need the 'base' Signature Packge before adding any other add ons

(The exception is a Free To air channels only option - Essentials - not to be confused with Essential TV on Stream!)

Ultimate TV on SKY Stream is the base package that is the equivalent to Signature + Ultimate on Q - however often Ultimate on Stream is cheaper than Signature on Q (& Netflix aka Ultimate)

SKY sometimes do offers but these seem to be becoming less available & generally less favourable than Stream packages

Yes, I asked about having sky essentials & adding sky kids, but again no can do. My son has essentials on his Q box. I just can't understand why I can't have essentials + sky kids. They'll let me have cinema and/or sports!!

hi @Alan2430

They won't let you have Sports or Cinema on SKY Essentials.

The base package you need to be able to add any others is Signature

They have always based their subscriptions around an 'Entertainment' base minimum with other optional add ons

SKY Essentials is just a way of trying to retain customers who don't want to pay for main subscriptions

Hi @Alan2430 Sky Q Essentials in free to air channels only. Sky Kids is a subscription package which can only be added to Sky Signature.
