Selected F1 items (Brit GP) to record. But my TV screen is Canadian/Austrian

to explain the title. The actual recordings are for the Brit GP 2025 Fri/Sat. But as per image provided the screen shows one is for Cananda and the other is Austrian. Suspect duff software as this has happened before. But now becoming irritating. Especially when is costs so much.

Not duff software but 'duff' metadata. Mine has done this for years - I've gotten over it.

As above the metadata is wrong.

It happens often across Sky content.

Your best bet to get this looked at an resolved by Sky is to send an email to the Sky Viewer relations team to report it;

They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems.

Indeed, for as long as I can remember.

It may even be deliberate as the F1 is grouped - it's just group's title may not be the revelant location if there's more than one in the group...

Regardless of what is actually at fault here. I too have just accepted it for years, but I expect better when paying £100+ per month for this service. So have a right to ask for this to be resolved.

There is a way around this.

If you are not interested in keeping the previous recording/races etc then delete all the previous recordings for all grand Prix s including practice session qualy etc

Then

Go into the deleted section and delete all entries in there make sure you get all of the races/practice sessions quliy etc as even leaving one will cause the next race to pick up that race name that was left

Sure. That's why people suggested contacting viewer relations. They're the best avenue for this kind of issue. Might be that it is a software issue though (picking up the first recording's metadata in a series instead of the most recent).

Hi I did get I with them and many months later they advised there's nothing they can do. No surprise there.
