When we changed our sky q we did not cancel the adverts which I believe makes our playments cheaper but we would rather pay the extra and get rid of the adverts

If you have SKY Q then there is no advert skipping option. - you can skip using voice control or FF button on recordings & downloads

If you have switched to SKY Stream I think you will need to call for Advert Skipping - although I think that is still similar & not Advert free

@sharon169 And would have no effect on Live transmissions
