Sky Q Connection

I don't have a Sky router but connect through my fibre internet. My Sky Q box went off about 10 days ago and despite trying everuthing I can't get it back on. Anyone any thoughts?

hi @Blackers3

If you get your Satellite signal via Fibre rather than a dish then your box must be set to use this.

So you may need to check that the LNB type is set correctly

You need to check/change the LNB type to SCR - this is in an engineer's menu

To access it :

press Home
Scroll to Settings - but do not press enter/select at this point
Press 0 0 1 in sequence followed by the Enter/ select button
you should now get the engineer's menu

Select the LNB Type & set to SCR if necessary

After changing the LNB type,if needed, fully power down (i.e. unplug or switch off at mains) your SKY Q box and restart it for the change to come into effect
