Sky W Samsung tv lagging and picture delay

Hi everyone

just had a new Samsung tv installed and ever since then I was having issues with the sky q mini boxes freezing and lagging.

I had an engineer out who advised that there is an issue with Samsung tvs using the WiFi that is connected to the sky q mini boxes as they interfere with the 5Ghz WiFi connection.

**bleep** disabled the WiFi off the tv and just like magic everything was fixed.

not ideal as it limits Samsung tv internet services but have no other choice....until I buy a powerline adapter or separate WiFi router to connect to.

Or use a different 5GHz wifi channel for the samsung / main router that doesn't conflict with the Sky meah on channel 36.

to be honest you've probably just stopped Samsung hoovering loads of data on everything you do with the TV.

Thanks this helped massively as I was experiencing the same issue with a new sky mini box and that I connected to a new Samsung tv. Strange though that the other boxes I've connected to other samsung tvs work fine. Saved me endless calls and another engineer visit
