The wires from my Sky Q box are drilled into and through the wall to the outside. When I move do I just detach the Qbox from

the wires and take just the box with no wires attached to my new home for the Sky engineer to attach new wires. Any help would be appreciated, Im 83 and live alone, so having difficulty. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes @Lindablue

You leave all the Wires.

Provided you have carried out a Home move through Sky the Engineer will install a new dish if necessary and also a new set of cables if required

Hi @Lindablue Have you booked your Home Move? Yes unscrew the satellite leads and only take your box, power cable, HDMI lead and remote control. The same if you have any Mini boxes. The installer will put up a new dish and new satellite leads if required.
