Moving to a conservation area

I am currently tied into a contract till 2027. In the coming weeks, I will be moving home.
the area in which I am moving too, is classed as a conservation area, after a lot of questions and a lot of waiting the local council have confirmed they will not give planning permission to install a sky satellite dish. Which leaves me with an obvious issue.
has anyone encountered this?

Will sky allow that? I can't find any option for stream on my sky account that's why I asked.

You'll have to call. The alternative is to pay for a service you can't use. (Unless Sky are prepared to release you from the contract)

Sky are actively encouraging customers to switch to streaming services, you just need to phone to do it.

As above, if you currently have Sky Q, you will have to call Sky to move to Sky Stream/Glass from Sky Q.

The key to Sky Stream/Glass is having a good broadband connection.

Not just broadband speed to your house and router, but for your local network supply via wifi or ethernet, that can be affected in a busy household.

The Sky recommended minimum broadband speed is 25Mbps.

Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or watch in UHD.

@BoodleO92 If you would prefer to continue to have Sky Q, and your new property has a garden, then it might well be worth asking a suitably qualified independent local engineer to check if there is a position where you could receive satellite transponder signals using a satellite dish mounted on a short pole in your garden.
