Can’t change programs

When I switch on I get Sky News can't change stations or sound tried rebooting still the same issue does not respond to remote

As you are not emailing Sky by posting this in the email forum so we can help you can you confirm if this is happening on your Sky Q box or do you have Sky+, Sky Stream or Glass ?

I have switched off all waited for more than required time but when I reboot I can only get Sky news ie the last program I used no matter what I press on the remote there is no response even the sound is stuck

Hi @Scunnered2 Nobody can help you unless you tell us which Sky platform that you have. Sky+HD, Sky Q, Stream or Glass?

@Scunnered2 if you have Sky Q Try resetting your remote.
Press the buttons 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice then follow onscreen instructions to repair the remote.
