      <title>Sky Q. Mini Box Youtube</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Evening all. We have a Sky q main box in the living room on the ground floor and a mini box in a bedroom on the 1st floor. Youtube works fine and dandy on the main box in the living room but will hardly work at all on the mini box. We keep getting "something is wrong" type messages and it loads incredibly slowly...when it loads at all. Have updated the software on both boxes &lt;STRONG&gt;through&lt;/STRONG&gt; "Settings", tested the WiFi speed and that's fine, rebooted both boxes and cleared all recordings out completely. Other apps such as Netflix, BBC Iplayer, ITV X and the Channel 4 app are working fine.Now in the process of refreshing apps (could take 24 hours?) 1. Anyone else had this problem? 2. Anyone think of anything else I could do to sort this out? Many thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I'm sure we can get better from a different provider with all the same stuff for less cost. I'm sick of sky. I've o ly had it a few months and already my bill has gone from £70 a month to over £100. And every day there has been a problem. This has hot tk change. They are robbing us blind a d the last time sky went down I was told it was because they got hacked and they stole all our personal data.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Yes the apps refresh can take up to 24 hours to fully sort out app issues or refreshes for any cache problems.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But often it's quicker.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Afraid it's just a wait and see at this point.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You could also try a restart of your broadband router.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok.Update...Both the main and mini boxes (accessed by 00 1&amp;nbsp; etc) reports that they are no longer refreshing apps so logic suggests that refreshing is complete. Have rebooted both boxes. Main box has YouTube working fine but YouTube still won't work on the mini box. We are getting the message "Something went wrong. Try again later " from time to time and when you go to search for a video it won't retrieve it&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;One thing you could try on your mini&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'm assuming from &amp;nbsp;what you say in your last post, it sounds like you can get into the home screen of the YouTube app.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If so, scroll down to the settings gear icon on the left side and scroll down to reset app.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Do a reset app.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This may log you out of YouTube after doing so, so you will need to log back in again.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Plus some of the apps default settings may be reset, like default languages or playback quality.&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Resetting the app data does not &amp;nbsp;delete your watch history or saved playlists.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="pjBG2e" data-cid="f0d74c4a-a606-429e-9b12-0797b98cfe31"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="UV3uM"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;At the moment I'm in YouTube on the mini box as, a&amp;nbsp; guest anyway. I can navigate down to the gear symbol for Settings but when I click on it nothing happens...Do I need to log into YouTube as myself reset the app?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The reset is there in guest mode &amp;nbsp;also for those times, when login is failing.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What normally happens, when you do a reset, is it flashes briefly and brings up a get started box, click on that to continue if it appears or it goes to the qr code sign in screen.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a rather infuriating situation where we can't log into YouTube on the TV that is served by our main Sky box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bizarrely, we can see and use all our profiles on the TV that is in the kitchen and that one is just connected to a min-box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone got any idea as to why we can't even log in via our main box, it's driving my wife nuts (and ergo, me!) as she can't log into her subscriptions on YouTube no matter howe many times we try&lt;/P&gt;</description>
