Probably to late now @Clareth1 but if you are still seeing that error code try using the Sky Go app on your mobile device.

Thanks yes could watch on phone but wanted on the big screen - I have an ongoing issue with Sky as all my TV channels are freezing and pixelating so watching everything through the apps sadly not the football though which I am still paying for !

On what device is this happening on as you had originally posted this in the Sky Go forum so is this on Sky Q, Glass or Stream ?

Sounds like you need your dish alignment checking, but have you checked the cables from the dish to Sky Q are finger tight?

@Clareth1 problems with the Satellite can cause SKY Q to cause an error when trying to use the SKY Sports app even though it uses the internet for the feed itself - it seems there is some form of check it does first for some reason, so you are likely to need the signal problem fixing to be able to use the SKY Sports app on SKY Q

Thanks unfortunately when the engineer came he'd made his mind up before he came through the door it was the trees behind my house. He didn't check the dish at all. I have complained so another engineer is coming to do a more thorough check
