Chodley....it's been a stable connection for years and years

Other users are having the same problem this week, so I guess it's a new problem and not linked to those previously

As per several others on here recently, since around Easter weekend my sky Q box keeps losing internet connection. I can't watch streaming apps, and the home page, catch up and on demand pages don't load. Rebooting the box and the router doesn't work, and the connection returns of its own accord when it feels like it

However

Whilst the connection is off, the same streaming apps can be watched perfectly fine via the TV

No other device on the network drops connection, so it's obvious the problem lays with the Sky box. Is anyone aware of any fixes in the pipeline?

Nope. Network reset might help in the short term. Do it with any minis powered down then reconnect those afterwards.

Imho wired / powerlines / mesh nodes is the only way to solve this properly. As I've said in many many many posts on this tragic topic.

The Q just does weird networking stuff.

Which broadband provider?
