Return old Sky Q box

I was offered a free engineer visit to set up my upgraded Q box but I opted to do this myself. Had an engineer called he/she would have collected the old box. Will Sky send me a box and prepaid label so I can return the old equipment for free?

@BlackCatAlex If Sy are sending you anew/replacement box it will more than likely be by DPD and be a doorstep swap where DPD will gove you the new box but expect you to have the old box all disconnected and ready to hand back to them.

2 things to remember about the doorstep box

1 Remove your viewing card from your old box

2 there are 2 types of power connectors 1 is a standard figure of 8 power connector used on most boxes but the other is a multi pin power connector with a power brick. Make sure you receive a power connector which may still be in the box (under a card board sleeve that the new box sits on so isn't obvious its there) as DPD don't check this and that it is the correct connector for your new box you receive.

I think you have misunderstood, perhaps I wasn't clear enough.

I have set up the new box myself, there was no involvement from a Sky engineer. My issue is about returning the old box.

The new box was delivered by Royal Mail, there was no doorstep swap.
