Try isolation testing the picture quality issue:

If Sky Sports Racing appears blurry simply try another channel. Pick a channel broadcast in the same resolution, meaning if you are viewing HD pick another HD channel, and compare.

Also,, check your signal strength and quality. It should say you have a good service.

Given this, if it is just the one channel, it is likely a transient content problem, not your kit.

If all channels appear unusually blurry, there are several potential mitigations you can try:

Put the TV and Sky Q box in standby. Press the power button on the Sky Q box (the light on this button should turn from amber to red).

Power the TV and Sky Q Box off. Disconnect from power for about 30 seconds, restore power and wait at least 5 minutes for the services on the Sky Q box to initialize.

See if the restart resolves the picture quality issue.

If not, try downloading content in the same resolution from on-demand on the Sky Q box. See if that is blurry or not.

The above steps should help you determine if there is a content issue, Sky Box issue, or other problem.

It is good practice to update both the TV and Sky Q Box to the latest software, if they are not current versions. Have a look at the following Sky help article:

Software or build versions and Sky boxes | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com

Refer to your TV manual to check and, if necessary,, update the TV software.

Finally, if these steps don't help, change the cable to another certified cable and connect to a different HDMI port. Make sure this is a full bandwidth port as some TV models and brands don't support full bandwidth on all the HDMI ports..
