Replacement Sky Q Box 2025

I have just sent off for a replacement Sky Q Box. My current one is a 2 Tb box. How do. Find out whether my replacement box is:

1. Also 2 Tb (or not)?

2. New or refurbished?

@Jchin99 it should be a like for like swap so you should get another 2 TB box more than likely it will be a refurbished box as i doubt Sky have any new Q boxes now

Remember all Q boxes are loaned to you for the duration of your subscription. (And have to be returned if you cancel)

hi @Jchin99

As @Laing1 says they replace on a like for like basis & probably all 2TB boxes (& even probably most 1TB) are now refurbished

When you do get the replacement make sure you take out your viewing card before handing over the old box.

Note Some 2TB boxes have a separate power supply - if you have one make sure you send it & check the new box (if ituses one it has a multipin connector rather than the Mains figure of 8 ) & if it needs a separate PSU make sure one is the box/ given to you
