Accidently cut the satellite cable.

We have accidently cut our sky satellite cable. Is it possible to get a connector to join the cable?

Yes you can get connectors:

F Connectors

If the cut is outside then the connectors must be fully protected from the weather using self amalgamating tape (or other method)

If doing this yourself then you need to take care with the connections so there are no 'shorts' in the circuit

That all said you could see if SKY will replace the cable for free but they may charge for this - I think their standard charge is around £65 but I am not sure if they adjust this

Hi @Julia454 I was doing some delicate (not) pruning with my hedge cutter and cut my cable. Sky replaced the entire cable, probably lucky for me, no charge.
