Watch from start not working

I have always used the watch from start button mainly on ugold, but now it does not work. Sometimes it does not show up and sometimes it will but when I select it it does nothing. Works ok on sky channels though.
i have a new Sky Q box

I have reset Q box.

when I try to watch from start on itv it takes me to the itvx app, same with other channels takes me to the channels app

any suggestions.

The "Watch from Start" message when watching live TV can be a bit "blink and you miss it". If I miss it, I'll swap to another channel for a couple of seconds and then come back to what I want to watch and usually I'll get the prompt appear again.

I've not notice it not working, but I guess that could happen if there's sporadic network issues (Watch from Start needs an internet connection). And yes, the app used for the service does depend on the channel being watched...

Thanks for the info, however that's not the issue

when I press watch from start on itv it takes me to itvx, if I do it on channel 4 it takes me to more 4. BBC channels take me to iPlayer no of them download to the sky Q box.
Does anyone know how I can escalate this higher in Sky

@Marc1001 that is how it is supposed to work that you are taken to the channels app to watch from the start only if its a Sky channel does it now download I think ch4 used to download but now it goes to the app

When did this change.
it has only started happening since I changed my sky Q box 2 weeks ago.

@Marc1001 BBC has always gone to iplayer ITV is fairly new i only noticed ITV actually had watcgh from the start the other night and found out ch4 was doing it a couple of nights ago when i'm sure ch4 used to download

Really getting fed up of the sporadic availability of 'watch from start' option. One of the main attractions of getting Sky initially and will be the cause of my withdrawing my custom. It's completely ridiculous and unacceptable. Being in Ireland too doesn't help as their customer service here is appalling.
