Upgrading to sky Q

Have been with Sky 25 years. Just upgraded to sky Q with two mini boxes. Slightly confused about what box I might be getting

it's a 1TB box but seems there is different versions. I need to be able to watch telly on both mini boxes and main sky Q box simultaneously. So I believe I need the 1TB UHD box. Is this what I will be getting when the engineer comes?

hi @CDavis1956

You are correct that you need the UHD version to be able to watch on 2 minis at the same time.

Unfortunately we can't advise which version you will get - we know that often SKY issue the non UHD version with free upgrades but that it is not always the case. I don't suppose you got them to say ?

Hopefully you will get the UHD version

IBTW I know it is a bit late now but you may, also, wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

Can you purchase a sky Q box on e-bay and use that instead?

Any equipment on eBay would effectively be 'stolen' as all Q equipment is owned by Sky.

All subscribers are loaned a box for the duration of their subscription.

No, definitely not. All Q boxes are owned by Sky. Any on eBay are stolen property.

So did an online chat with sky agent and they have assured me you can watch 3 screens simultaneously with the 1TB box they are installing

do I have faith that's correct? Not really😂 but I've screenshot the conversation so if it doesn't I've got evidence they said it could. Thanks for everyone's help here.
