If you click on the programme within the tv guide, it should bring up a tile for the programme.

That will show all other available recordings, under Other showings.

There you can look to see if any of the other showings during the week at different times are available without AD/SL

AD/SL programmes often are broadcast late night or early hours.

Do you really mean Audio Description (AD) (which can be toggled on or off) or do you mean Sign Language (SL) which is a person in the image that cannot be switched off ?

As indicated having a recording which contains AD does not mean you need to have it switched on

As @lettice says both AD & SL should be shown in the description and you may need to check the listings

SL versions are usually in the early mornings although I think some Series Links may automatically include them

BTW versions with AD are quite common at any time of the day - I am watching Father Brown on Alibi as I write this which carries AD although I don't have it switched on

(edit :AFAIK If a version has AD there are not usually any non AD versions at other times - as I say it is a toggle to switch on/off unlike the SL versions)

I agree it can be a bit distracting to see the smaller picture and someone signing in the corner and it's frustrating when you want to watch a programme and the AD/SL version is the only one available to watch.

If there's no non-AD/SL episode in Sky Q, you can always look for it in one of the catchup apps (e.g. BBC iPlayer or ITV Player) and see if it's there.

P.S. If it is Audio Description that you are bothered about and want to toggle off or on

Select the ? button then with Audio Description highlighted press the Select/Enter button - Alternatively use the voice Commands "Audio Description off" (or on)
