All sorted. I accidently switched off a socket by the router, which knocked power off to the router, my FTTP wall unit and my powerline in one hit. Unfortunately bit of a 'shotgun' fix, but that appears to have done it, and download speed back to a satisfactory level.

Recently noticed my downloads were getting slower and slower - so decided to investigate - after a film download last night stuck at around 2% for best part of an hour.

My network is BT FTTP 900MB - so should be fast enough. My Qbox is connected via a cable into a powerline adaptor, but for whatever reason and whatever I do if I check my network connection it shows I am connected to my wifi for the most part, and the speed stays resolutely bad.

If I run a speedtest via Netflix through Sky - I get 3.87MB. If I run the same test through the Netflix App on my TV - I get around 32MB.

Thus far - steps taken:

1. Reset Router. No affect.

2. Reset SkyQ. Engineers menu - Option 1 reset. No affect.

3. Turn off both 2.4ghz and 5ghz channels in Engineers menu. Keep turningthemselves back on?

4. Reset network connection through settings and reconnect to wired connection.

If I do this step 4 it then shows I am connected through the wired connection, but if I go to the Netflix on Sky App it shows my connection as wireless? At one point it said wireless, then told me I didn't have a network connection - so even more confused.

I feel I am going round in circles, and going slightly mad in an attempt to get this sorted.

Next step is to replace the ethernet connection cable to the powerline adaptor. I am not currently questioning the adaptor, as both a PS5 and the TV are conencted to this and working fine.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi. Not sure if I am missing something - but clicked the bubble, which promptly raised a threat alert through Norton. Is there supposed to be a message in the chat, as it is blank?
