topic Some HD pixelated with sound dropping in Sky Q

I have a Sky Q box with normal sat dish, on certain channels at certain times of day and evening the channel becomes pixelated with sound loss. This can get gradually worse and then clear and be ok. This happens in all weather, also recent storm damaged the dish so that was replaced and still have the issue. There was older cables from previous install so I tried them and again the same, have tried restarting the SkyQ box, no good. There was a tree in the dish los but that's now gone and still the same. It's the worse on RTE1 101 and NatGeoHD 129, both are HD channels and from list of channels that seem affected (some worse than others) the majority are HD. And since we're paying a premium for HD I hope there is a solution to this as it's been getting gradually worse over last couple of months. It does seem to clear in the evening (20:00ish) and from what I can see is happening from 16:00 (that I've seen). Only hardware left to change is the SkyQ box but don't have a spare of that so.....anyone has same / similar issue and any other fixes to try....Thanks T...

Best to get a Sky Engineer to check your Dish alignment and signal strength.

Yep....I have booked and engineer but it will be a couple of weeks. Dis have them out already and also when the dish was damaged and independent lad installed a new dish and LNB. Strength and Quality is showing 90 on both so it should be solid except for blocking or extreme weather.

That signal strength is only for a test frequency - others could be worse (but shouldn't be wildly different) and you can't tell
