How many ways to reboot SKY Q Box?

Hello everyone,

I recently learned that I can reboot the SKY Q Box by:

Press Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Setup.
Select Preferences, followed by Standby mode and select the setting you want.

Is there any different way of doing it?

The main reboot method is -
~ Using the remote put your main Sky Q box into standby
~ switch the box off at the plug
~ wait at least 30 seconds and then switch the box back on at the plug
~ follow the on screen instructions
~ when the screen goes blank and the blue Q stops pulsating wait another 30 seconds
~ press the 🏠 button

Allow 5-10 minutes before things hopefully revert back to normal.

Thanks for the help! That method works great when I have physical access to the box. However, I was looking for a way to reboot it remotely using the Sky Q remote, as I sometimes don’t have direct access to the device. Do you know if there’s another way to do it through the remote only?

Change the max number of recorded channels from 5 to 6 (or vice versa) - the box reboots...
