Even though you paid the non-return fee the equipment is still owned by Sky.

However, you'll have to call to see if you can start a new sub.

The dish may not have a suitable LNB for Q. An engineer would likely have to visit anyway.

Restart subscription

Hi, I had a Sky q subscription but stopped it due to price rises but never returned my equipment. I ended up having to pay for it. Now I've moved into a new house and was wondering if Sky would restart my subscription? Or would I be barred because I never returned the equipment even though I subsequently was charged for it? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. The previous owners had Sky so there's a dish.

You should still have returned the loaned equipment even after being charged the non return fee and then we could have helped you get that fee reimbursed.

If you've still got the old Sky Q box it has possibly been deactivated now so is no use to you anyway.
