No image on TV screen from Q box?

We have just moved into a new home and can't get TV via our Q box. We have been sent a new Sky max box and we can now get internet but no TV images at all.

all we see is "no signal"!!

can anyone suggest a fix please?

Is that no signal (i.e. nothing from the SKLY Q box) or no Satellite Signal (i.e. SKY Q menus etc OK but not working with the Satell;ite) ?

Didn't the Sky engineer check it all? I presume you did a house move with Sky?

Hi @Revneedshelp

Unless you carried out out a home move with Sky it looks like the satellite dish hasn't got a Q LNB fitted .

If it was previously used with Sky+HD the LNB will not work with Sky Q

If you have a Sky Q box then you need a Satellite dish to receive any channels @Revneedshelp

Without a Dish you need to be looking at Sky Strream.

Rather a limiting factor for a satellite TV box.

You might want to look into Sky Stream if you want Sky without the satellite box or arrange a Q satellite installation at your new property.

Is it fed by a Communal system ?
