Had a phone call from sky

Hi ive had a phone call today from sky offering a deal but when went through to accept asked me to change my password is this a scam caller community guidelines wont let me share contact number they called from

asking me to call back on a number if got disconnected?

any help much apperciated thanks 🙂

Almost certainly a scam where they try to obtain sufficient details so that they can order an expensive mobile phone under your details which subsequently gets sent to your address. The scammers then recontact you saying they've made a mistake and to send it to a (non Sky) address. They then have the device and you have the bill.

With any unexpected calls from Sky if the caller asks for your telephone password to confirm you're the account holder (which a genuine Sky agent should) initially give an INCORRECT one on purpose. If the caller doesn't challenge it then you know it'll be a scam call.
