@Mallyb007 You've posted in the Sky Q forum however Sky Q has inbuilt WiFi and such a connector would not work with Sky Q.

On a Sky+ HD remote there's a 'Services' button: a Q handset doesn't have this.

As @GD1 indicates, an SD501 Mini Connector box is entirely inappropriate for Sky Q, and absolutely not the same as a Q Mini box or used to connect a Q Mini: the name is an unfortunate coincidence.

The Mini Connector is an antique bit of kit which added wireless capability to older (pre-2014) Sky+ boxes that didn't have WiFi built-in.

If you are having issues with a Q Mini box, the appropriate hardware is a Sky Q Booster or Sky Broadband Booster, which Sky will loan.
