Sky Apple TV app glitching

It seems to do this a lot for many people on Sky Q.

Try giving the box a power cycle - turn it off at the wall for a minute then power it back on and see if that helps, or better still, use the Apple TV+ app on any other device, be it on your smart TV, Firestick, Roku, etc. as the apps on Q are quite slow and unreliable.

I have tried turning broadband box off and on but signal reads ok. TV watching stops and starts and is out of sync.

Have you rebooted your Q box? Turn it off at the wall for a few minutes then power it back on and allow it to reboot.

When I had a Sky Q box I never bothered using the apps on it as they weren't very reliable. The ones on my smart TV and firestick were, and still are, always ok.

Same is happening with ours. We have even had two new boxes sent to us by sky. We are going to cancel Apple+ but the same

happens with paramount and itvx which im not sure we can get any other way.

Buy a dedicated streaming device such as a Firestick, Roku or Apple TV 4K box. The apps on there all work much better than on Sky Q.

Thanks. We have a firestick so will try that. Our other problem, and the main reason why we have had the boxes replaced, is that sky q keeps crashing with issues between our sky q box and mini boxes. We thought that may be the cause is Apple TV buffering but it would seem not.
sky q seems to have more problems than I thought!
