With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi thanks for instructions I've done this and it sorts the q box but it doesn't turn my telly on or off. I have to use the tv control to do this and also press the area that says sky on the screen . Then the sky control will work. So I'm having to use both controls . Does anyone know how I can just use the sky control for telly and q box ?

When you paired your remote, did you do a search for your TV, as below?
If you are having trouble finding your TV, let us know the make and model and we will help you find it sometimes some mimic other TVs.

Hold down 7 and 9 until the remote's light flashes 4 times to factory reset your remote.

Then you need to pair it again:

Hold down 1 and 3 together
Select Continue and enter the brand of your TV
Select Find it for me

Press the volume buttons on your Sky Q remote and see if this changes to volume on your TV. No luck? Select No, try another until you find the right setting.
