PIN number issues

Hi I have just got sky q today and it wants my PIN number to watch certain sky channels like sky atlantic. I pay for there Chanel's but wants my pin every time. I have been into the parental controls and switched off all the pin settings but it still wants my PIN number. Anyone got any ideas. I had sky plus hd before and never had to do this

A Mandatory Daytime Protection PIN is required where a channel is broadcasting post-watershed content before 21:00 (the clue is in the name ; )

If Sky+ HD was letting you view such content without a PIN, that's a serious error and would render Sky liable to significant penalties from Ofcom for breaching the Broadcasting Code.

Nothing on the Sky Atlantic schedule between 08:00 and 21:00 today could be carried on a terrestrial channel at those times: it's the PIN mechanism on Sky which permits broadcast.

That is I unusal then as it should have popped up. This is so the channel

can show age restricted content that would be usually only shown after 9pm. You can not change any settings in relation to this.

Can confirm that my Sky+HD Box currently requires a PIN to watch GOT on Sky Atlantic (8pm)
