Sky q mini box remote issues

The sky q remote in an upstairs room won't work with the box anymore. I've tried resetting ( hold 7 & 9 for three seconds until it flashes 4 times) and then holding 1 & 3 but I'm getting no response from the mini box at all. The batteries and the remote are working fine as the led is reacting to buttons I press.
the box is on and connected to the main sky q box downstairs but it's just not responding to the remote anymore.
is there something else I can try besides 7& 9 and then 1 & 3?
it was working fine before but for some reason, I'm getting nothing now.

Hi @Morgsie82

First reboot the mini box.

To reboot press Standby on your mini remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your mini box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the mini box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Once the mini is completely back on

With the mini box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Thanks, I've done all of this already though and it's not working.

Hi @Morgsie82

Try the reset and pairing procedure on the mini using your Main Q box remote.

Also try the same on the main Q box with your mini remote.
