Despite all responses re new updates released and resets required, this problem appears to be a firm feature of Sky Q both on live and on demand and it is impossible to predict when it will rear its head, but it can be relied upon to do so whenever a particular favourite programme is running. It is time it was taken seriously and resolved - in particular as regards the fees we pay for a reliable service.

This is 2024 - not 1954. We expect - and have every right to expect a clean picture and should not have to look forward to a festive break blighted by second-rate technology.

Please address and resolve this, or consider a blanket discount for a proportion of sub- standard service.

There isn't going to be a firmware update released in the next week: that never happens in December.

Please address and resolve this, or consider a blanket discount for a proportion of sub- standard service.

It would be up to individual users to negotiate such a thing: as Q has millions of subscriptions, forum post volume suggests that while unfortunately affecting some users this isn't widespread.
