      <title>Sky q control not working during service up</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi. I have just resubscribed to sky and received a new box. However, no viewing card was sent which I have now requested. I thought though that I would still start to set the box up, but after I have selected the home button as per the guide, it comes up with an accessibility screen which I cannot move off as the control is not responding to either option. Advisor on phi e said this would be resolved when I inserted the viewing card which could take up to a week to arrive. Does anyone know if the is actually accurate as I don't then want to wait another week for an engineer? Thanks&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Reset your mini remote by pressing&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;and holding 7 &amp;amp; 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;This will set it to infrared which will work all Q boxes. &amp;nbsp; However the remote must be pointed directly at the mini box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Switch your mini box back on and you then you should be able to get the accessible screen&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once you get the mini working make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 &amp;amp; 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
