The Sky Q min relies on a Sky Q main box being on and connected to your satellite dish for the live channels.

Plus it also needs the main box to be on and supplying a wifi or ethernet connection between the boxes to share the recorded content that sits on the Sky Q main box.

If you have a phone, tablet, PC or games machine you can watch live channels and watch on demand content from Sky via the Sky Go app.
