All remotes from Sky will now be Voice activated.

hi @Marcus89

As the IR only remotes were only issued with the early mini boxes, the chances are that your existing remote is voice control capable.

Older Voice remotes had a small button on the top right hand side, whereas newer ones have a blue button on the front

Is it failing/broken or just not working for Voice control ?

To use voice control it must be paired in bluetooth mode - if it is not paired in bluetooth mode & you want it to be then :

May I suggest you try a reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared
